Landscapes

Ann regularly paints landscape commissions, sometimes of a client's favourite view, or a holiday memory. She can also create paintings to your specification, working from her own reference material.

Portraits

Almost all of Ann's portrait work is painted to commission.  Painted portraits are much more expressive than photographs, and can capture the personality of the individual(s) in a unique way. Portraits can be painted from a supplied photo (preferably several) or Ann can take a portfolio of photos on a visit. Live sittings can also be arranged.

House Portraits

House portraits are a great way to remember an old home, and they make great surprise presents for newlyweds or people hitting milestone birthdays!  As with all commissions, unwelcome features such as telegraph poles and satellite dishes can be omitted from a painting.  ​In this example, Ann has focused on the house in question and subtly faded out the neighbouring buildings.
