This is a view I often see as I go walking from my house it's the end of the lane that takes me down to most of the local footpaths. In the late autumn most of the leaves are on the ground, forming a rich yellow carpet, and the few remaining leaves on the trees catch the low sunlight. I was particularly taken, on this day, by the shadows from the poplar trees on the left hand side.
