This is slightly different from the other Forest Light paintings in that the landscape is slightly more open, and the focus of the picture is the lovely forest waterfall. I remember walking up towards the falls, hearing them but not seeing them, until finally they came into spectacular view. It had been raining, so the forest was dripping wet, but the sun came out at just the right moment.
