Landscape Commissions

Although most people think of portraits when they consider commissioned paintings, it is also possible to commission a picture of almost any subject. For instance, I have painted a person's favourite "peaceful spot" by their local lake, which was given as a retirement present. Here are some other ideas:

• A favourite holiday view
• A person's house (or old house, if they are moving)
• A scene from a regular walk
• A painting taken from a holiday photo
• A painting to fit a particular spot in your house

Your Commission Idea

I can paint something in a similar style (or of a similar subject) to an existing painting of my own - perhaps one that has already been sold. If you were disappointed to miss the chance to buy that particular one, we could discuss ideas for another similar picture.

Unique Picture from Your Photograph

If you have a photograph you would like me to paint, please don't worry if it's not perfect. One of the benefits of a painting is taking a little artistic licence. I can usually leave out things you don't want included (eg electricity pylons) and enhance colours if the lighting is poor. Have a look at the example photo and painting below, to see what I mean.
